SWISS MOUNTAIN APARTMENT

Designed to serve both as a private retreat for our client and a high-quality holiday let, this project involved the complete renovation of a tired apartment in Verbier, transforming it into a bright, welcoming mountain home that fully embraces its extraordinary valley views. By reworking the layout of the four bedrooms and three bathrooms, we maximised both space and flow, while opening up the living room and kitchen to create a larger, lighter, and more sociable heart to the apartment.

Style-wise, the brief called for a more contemporary feel than many of our usual projects, with cleaner lines and a subtle Scandinavian influence. We still wanted to introduce colour and pattern while steering well clear of the traditional ski-chalet look. Instead, we balanced vintage furniture with bespoke upholstered pieces and playful lighting, layering in traditional mountain references in a more refined, modern way. The result is a characterful yet relaxed interior that feels rooted in its alpine setting while offering a fresh, contemporary take on mountain living.
