PETERBOROUGH COUNTRY HOME

This project involved the renovation of a large Grade II listed country home for returning clients, having previously worked together on their London house. A key part of the brief was encouraging the clients to take a more adventurous approach to the decoration than in their previous London home. With the move to the countryside, they were keen for the interiors to feel in keeping with the setting, incorporating more traditional furniture shapes, richer colours and patterned fabrics, alongside carefully selected vintage and antique pieces.

The scope of the project included a complete renovation of the ground floor, as well as the design of the master bedroom suite, dressing room and guest bathroom on the first floor. Despite the restrictions of the Grade II listing, we were able to reconfigure the master bathroom to create an impressive room featuring a freestanding bath, with the shower and WC discreetly concealed.

The existing kitchen, which was of excellent quality, was retained and refreshed with a new colour palette, updated tiles, and carefully chosen accessories and soft furnishings to bring the space in line with the overall design scheme.
