STYLISH YET PRACTICAL FAMILY HOME

This impressive double fronted Victorian house needed to function far better practically for a busy family with three children, but the client did not want this to be at the expense of elegance and style.

Collaborating closely with construction company, Beam Development, and UV Architects we worked together from the initial building stages right through to the final finishing touches. We made the most of the Victorian period by reinstating features such as hallway panelling and tiling, coving and ceiling roses. A feminine palette of pinks and blues was used throughout the house for a cohesive look, with some vibrant fabrics, pops of colour and pattern in the bathrooms and children’s areas to add personality.

“Annabel was an absolute dream to work with and made the whole process a wonderful experience. Moreover we are absolutely thrilled with the end result. She really listened to what we wanted to achieve and put a lot of thought into how to make the house work for us as a family. We wanted something that looked superb but was also practical and could also withstand the demands of three small children. Annabel encouraged us to broaden our horizons, pushed us out of our comfort zone to embrace texture, colour and pattern, while always maintaining a focus on our original brief. She has infinite patience, style and flair in abundance and is an utter joy to collaborate with. Can we do it all again please?!”
